I am a random 20-something geek with too much time and a love of striking imagery. Expect various pictures, videos, and songs, along with whatever random thoughts I can't convince myself not to post.

There will be NSFW material, but not that much. Compared to portraits, landscapes and the like, it is much easier to make an engaging image, but much harder to make a jaw-dropping one. I'm after the latter category.

So if you're less than the legal age to view such images, please come back when your government deems you ready. I know how silly that is, but the way to change it is not posted on this Tumblr.

I own none of these images/videos/etc. If you do, please tell me, and I'll remove them. More to the point, it will let me follow you again. A good portion of what will appear here is from many years and two computers ago, and trying to track down sources via filenames is not as easy as it used to be.

I love this photo.  It would make a hell of a SF story too.   The lone woman walks down the street, reality ripping apart all around her…

how are you today sweety

Tired.  I went and saw the new Green Lantern movie under the best possible conditions - at midnight, when I was still half-asleep.

Current internet crush: Krystal Lynn Hedrick.  I suspect it’s because she’s the only model that shows any humor in the clothing banners that pop up from time to time.

….and I’m speechless again.

There is nothing spookier than the real world through the wrong lens.

This was desktop I had before the sword lady, adapted from the Mirrormask movie poster.  I’m still sad that so few people saw this.  It was the movie that should have replaced The Wizard of Oz in the popular consciousness.  And it had a fricking awesome poster.

Sometimes, even the porn sites get it right.

never seen that, is it good?

She’s a big part of the Batman mythos - an ex-cop that’s basically Batman without the funding or tights.  Her plotlines are usually less cartoonish, too.

The female cop in The Dark Knight was originally supposed to be her, but since that character turns out to be a mob informant, they changed the movie character’s name.

sexiest comic character?

I’m not as qualified as most in my social circle to answer that, but Renee Montoya has to rank up there.

…ugh, that’s an awful drawing.  Unfortunately, any character with the nickname Faceless is going to have a dearth of good clip art.

I first saw this image on a short-lived website back in….1999?  This was the image that proved to me (as a preteen) that the erotic could also be art.  Also, that I really, really liked women.
The subject is apparently Gisele Bundchen, the current supermodel and football WAG, although I’ve never been able to confirm that.

www.dresdencodak.com is a pretty decent comic.  Every single page is a new work of art, although the style of each strip can vary wildly.  The humor is dry and absurdist.  And as long as you just accept the science as technobabble, the stories they tell are very human.
The main problem is the time of the updates.  Getting a new strip every three weeks is a good stretch for Diaz.

This is what fan-made videos should be: a fantastic song, good production values, and using both to actually say something meaningful.
